SALA Chinese School offers a range of clasees from Kinder to Year 12, including Adults classes.

Embark on a cultural adventure with our Koala class, designed for little ones aged 6 months to around 3 years old. Through the magic of Chinese songs, arts, and traditions, our classes create a vibrant tapestry of learning and creativity. From interactive musical sessions to hands-on arts and crafts inspired by Chinese traditions, our youngest learners and their parents share the joy of exploration. 踏上文化探险之旅，参与我们的小探险者班，专为6个月至3岁左右的小宝贝设计。通过中文歌曲、艺术和传统的魔力，我们的课程创造了一个充满学习和创造力的生动画卷。从互动的音乐会话到受中国传统启发的亲手艺术和手工活动，我们最年幼的学习者和他们的父母分享着探索的喜悦。这不仅仅是一堂课，更是一个家庭共建的体验，在这里父母积极参与活动，与他们的小探险者一起，促进连接，创造持久的回忆。

Kaya the Koala

Lydia (Weixuan) - Teacher

Lydia (Weixuan) was born in Lanzhou, Gansu province, the northwestern of China, and is a native Mandarin speaker.

She completed Master of TESOL at Monash University and now studying the graduate diploma in early childhood at RMIT. In 2021, prior to coming to Australia, Weixuan worked as an English teacher at the Guangzhou New Oriental School. As well as her bachelor’s degree which is Early Childhood Education, she has a Certificate of Mandarin Proficiency and an Early Childhood Teaching Certificate. In order to implement her teaching philosophy of teach through lively activities, Lydia likes to use many kinds of games to teach in the classroom, such as role-play, pop up.

Lydia is passionate about education, and looking forward to having an unforgettable experience with the children in the kinder and prep class.

Patrina Ee - Assistant

Patrina was born in Malaysia. Her relationship with SALA traced back to late 1990s as a parent. Patrina has been an early childhood educator since 1999. She started working at SALA in 2011 and is a valuable
staff member at our school.

Kimberley Ho - Volunteer

Kimmie was born in Singapore and she was an ex student at SALA. Kimmie completed her high school education in 2009 and since 2010, she has been working as a volunteer helping in junior classes. Kimmie enjoys her time spent with the younger children, observing and assisting them learn and grow.

We are offering three different session times to cater to various parents' needs. Each session will be 30 minutes. Parents and kids can choose the session that suits them best.
